Get Early Learning Support Right at Home

At Young Achievers Academy, our voluntary Home Visiting Program serves as a powerful resource for expectant parents and those with young children, linking them with a dedicated support person, known as a Home Visitor. We understand that parents and primary caregivers are vital to their children's healthy development, and that's why we aim to provide the essential support and resources families need to thrive—ultimately improving outcomes for babies.

About Our Home Visiting Program

Our program is built on the proven Healthy Families America® home visiting model, a highly effective prevention strategy. When infants don’t receive the necessary support for their cognitive growth, they may miss crucial developmental milestones, leading to long-term challenges in education, socialization, and health. Our goal is to empower parents during this critical phase of development.

What We Offer

Using the Healthy Families America® framework and the Parents As Teachers (PAT) curriculum, our mission is to equip parents with the knowledge, support, and encouragement they need to foster optimal growth in their children during the early years. Each enrolled family can benefit from up to four home visits each month for three years, delivered by a certified Home Visitor. These visits are tailored to meet the specific needs of your child’s age and development.

Developmental milestones and school readiness insights

Support for bonding, attachment, and breastfeeding

Assistance in achieving personal and family goals

Health and wellness screenings for your child

Connections to community resources and referrals

Community Connection

In addition to individual home visits, families are encouraged to join our monthly group events. These gatherings create a welcoming environment for parents to connect, share experiences, and access valuable information about local resources. Through engaging activities, families will discuss child development, parenting tips, and any concerns they may have, all while building a supportive community network.
